After being raised by Kamba people for 22 years, Mandela Saningo finally got reunited with his Maasai family.
In 1991, three-year-old Maasai boy Mandela Saningo was grazing cattle with his older brother Philip. They lived peacefully in a typical Maasai village in the Olloirien Game Reserve in central Kajiado District, Kenya. When time came to make their way back home, Philip looked for his brother, called his name many times but got no response. He soon realised Mandela was lost.
